The Coaching and Training Program gives partners a clear structure and a step-by-step process to generate new business and enhance their practices. Through a sequence of self- assessment and ongoing coaching, professional service providers learn sequentially to build the foundations of business development that leads to new business generation. 

This unique program is centered on individually tailored instruction for each participant. The coach elicits and assesses the partner's current expertise, practice specialization, and relationship skills. New skills and strategies are introduced which are used to generate new work. The sources of new business including existing clients, new prospects, other attorneys in the firm (cross selling), and referrals from existing clients are developed. Participants learn how to become known in their marketplace. 


FOR ASSOCIATES: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

A similar individualized approach enables associates to move ahead in the firm through looking at their long-term career goals, understanding the importance of business development for their future success, and building self-confidence. With the help of the coach, the associates move through the sequential and logical steps of the training. Participants master the skills of building referral networks through speaking, publishing, and participating in community organizations. They polish their presentation and conversational skills, learn client research techniques, and improve their networking abilities. They also learn the ins and outs of internal marketing.
